Launch date set

At the World Wide Partner Conference Kevin Turner announced the date for the Visual Studio 2008/SQL Server 2008/Windows Server 2008 launch.

These products will be launched at an event on February 27 2008 in Los Angeles.

Note that the SQL RTM date will be after the launch date, but SQL 2008 will be launched with at the same time (ala Biztalk 2005 launch).  The other RTM dates are also the same as previously predicted.

In New Zealand this will probably be when the community launch events in the local user groups start to kick off too - so stay tuned for more details on this.
