Team Edition for Database Professionals now available

If you've got a Team Suite subscription you can now download the new Visual Studio Team Edition for Database Professionals edition from MSDN.

Team Edition for Database Professionals (aka DataDude) is the latest in Team Edition of Visual Studio which is aimed at giving database professionals some of the tools that they'd normally have to purchase third party products for.  For more info see "What Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team Edition for Database Professionals can do for you". The feedback on this product from the guys who went along to the NZ .Net User Group SQL Code Camp a couple of weeks ago was very favourable.

If you haven't already heard me harp on about it, we have a 15% special on for MSDN at the moment (and if you have heard me harp, you'll be surprised how many people dont know about this :-). 

If you dont have a copy of Team Suite and want to move up from Team Edition or Visual Studio Professional, you should talk to your licensing gurus or call the dev tools licensing hotline (see this page for details on both).
