Visual Studio 2010 will support Oracle

A very long time in the works but we finally publically announced at VS Live that Quest Software will be delivering Oracle support for the database related tooling in VSTS 2010 Development Edition….Quest will be delivering a database schema provider(DSP) which will allow Oracle developers to do offline design, development and change managements for Oracle databases using VSTS 2010 Developer Edition.

This is a great win in that it allows us to continue broadening the market for the Visual Studio Team System product line to customers with heterogeneous database server technologies, specifically in this case Oracle Database as well as our previously announced  IBM DB2 DSP support @ Tech Ed 2008 last summer.
