In business school we learn about the "mushroom effect", where upper management (who sits on top of the mushroom) can’t get a clear a picture of what’s really going on in their organization because all the workers are hiding (not purposely) under the mushroom. SharePoint is the ultimate "mushroom-killer" and Bill Gates just proved that. MicroSoft hit a grand-slam with the introduction and constant innovation of this product.
