DSP for Oracle Announced at VSLive!

During the keynote at TechEd 2008, Brian Harry demonstrated DBPro working with a DB2 database. This capability is the result of IBM writing is DSP (Database Schema Provider) for DB2.

At VSLive! in San Francisco, today, Feb  24, we announced the DSP for Oracle.

The DSP will allow Oracle Developers using Visual Studio Team System 2010 Developer to do perform offline design, development and change management for Oracle databases (9i through 11g), similarly to how Visual Studio Team System works with Microsoft SQL Server™ databases.

If you’re interested in learning more about the DSP for Oracle or to sign up for the beta, check out the TeamFuze website. The Beta is expected to be available shortly after VSTS 2010 Beta 1 goes out.

Excelsior!
