VS2008 and .NET 3.5 release month announced!

At TechEd 2007 Barcelona and DevConnections Las Vegas, we announced that Visual Studio 2008 (aka Codenamed "Orcas") and .NET Framework 3.5 will be released by the end of this month. Previously, we had stated that they would be released by the of this year. Just in time for the holidays. <grin>

Visual Studio 2008 is the first in the wave of technology we'll be released in the up coming year. Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008 are soon to come. There will be large launch event in Los Angeles, CA on Feburary 27, 2008 showcasing all three technologies with pre-launch and post-launch events occurring throughout the world.
