Finally I’ve made it to the last launch in my launch schedule. Today I am in Bahrain and while still very busy we were actually able to take in a movie last night after our preparations. Attendance in Bahrain is good and interest as in all the other launches is high. Lots of Oracle customers here in Bahrain, but even among Oracle customers as in other locations there is a lot of interest in SQL Server 2005 both for new projects but to use SQL Server 2005’s capabilities to augment their existing Oracle database with reporting services, business intelligence, and more.

Tonight I’m flying back to Istanbul through Dubai. I’ll be taking some time off over the holidays, but will continue to answer and catch up on all the e-mails.
