Jay mentioned me

Jay linked to me from his blog and had some nice things to say.  Unfortunately, I’m new to this blogging stuff and already I’m running into issues balancing the needs of work versus the desire to communicate and discuss.

Note: this is a problem even outside the context of blogging.  I tend to work very odd hours (generally extremely late or extremely early) because it provides for far less distractions.  We do a lot of talking in our office about features, design decisions, and a lot about what’s best for the people who use VS and C#.

This blog is an attempt to reach that discussion out to the community and not have just be internal.  Hopefully I’ll be able to manage handling the discussions while still getting my work done 🙂

I think that "extremely late" is the same time as "extremely early". 🙂

I was going to write a bit about what I’ve observed from reading blogs, but instead I’ll just ask that are you posting so often (assuming the current rate continues) because that’s how you like it personally /and it poses no problem?

Argh. I see you answered my question, I just somehow had a blackout on the first line.

Anyway. If you are already having issues balancing blogging, you could try for example writing down the subject of what you are going to blog about, then later in the day narrow down from those. There could be better ways, ask your readers.. ?
