When can we expect CRM 2015 Update 1 for on-premise users? It does not seem like this page is actively monitored by Microsoft but should some feel the urge, I would love to hear from you at aad.van.der.velden@cubeconsulting.nl

  4. Jukka Niiranen says:

CRM 2015 Update 1 a.k.a v7.1 will not be available for on-premises environments at all. From now on, minor releases will only be published for CRM Online, whereas the major versions will be available for all deployment types. So, v8.0 will be released both for on-premises and CRM Online customers (most likely containing much of the v7.1 features), but expect the next minor release of v8.1 to be cloud only again. Please see the following blog post on new naming conventions for Microsoft Dynamics CRM updates for more details about version numbers and the release policy: blogs.msdn.com/…/new-naming-conventions-for-microsoft-dynamics-crm-updates.aspx
