Harness the power of Social Media with Webfortis Parrot

Guest blogger and Microsoft Partner Webfortis provides the post today. Having seen the demo of this, all I can say is WOW!

image Parrot (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) integrated with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is known as Social CRM. IT organizations evaluate CRM products  for flexibility and their ability to integrate; business decision makers are increasingly looking for CRM solutions that provide Parrot dashboards that can help them build a social engagement strategy with their customers. Whether you’re a brand manager who simply wants to listen into social networks to track awareness, sentiment, and propensities, or a sales person who is interested in identifying and qualifying leads, or a customer service rep who wants to interact closely with established customers, a Parrot dashboard will soon become a core productivity tool.

Paul Greenberg defines Social CRM as follows: "CRM is a philosophy and a business strategy, supported by a technology platform, business rules, workflow, processes and social characteristics, designed to engage the customer in a collaborative conversation in order to provide mutually beneficial value in a trusted and transparent business environment. It’s the company’s response to the customer’s ownership of the conversation"

This application will allow CRM users to use Parrot components  in one location - Microsoft Dynamics CRM. It will also allow CRM users to elevate the content and convert the social media feed into a Microsoft Dynamics CRM Lead or a Microsoft Dynamics CRM Case.

Organizations can choose to have one master feed where a pool of users can view that information and choose to take action on the various social media feeds. Alternatively,  organizations can allow users to have their own individual feeds and can choose to subscribe to their choice of social media networks. This will allow a greater penetration in the market, and allow users to have higher flexibility.
