Microsoft Partner Network Launches New Site

Microsoft has asked various communities for input on a new site they have recently launched.  It is the Microsoft Partner Network Community site and it was launched by the Microsoft Worldwide Partner team a few months ago. I wanted to go over some of the features of this Web site from the perspective of an avid social media fan.

I really appreciate the work it took to link the home page with real time feeds from Twitter, Facebook, and relevant Blog post. This mashup allows you to filter by various Microsoft-specific Hashtags like #wpc10 and #msuspartner. There’s even a photo feed at the bottom of the page which is a nice, friendly touch.

imageThere is info about other community resources such as one of my favs, PartnerPoint. Videos from some of the Microsoft partners are highlighted on the main page and just require a Windows Live ID which is free.

If you pick your region events are highlighted like the upcoming Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Washington DC 11-15 July. This one-stop resource will help you plan your conference plans for the year.

The stated goal of the Microsoft Partner Network is to help you create new opportunities, increase demand, and achieve your business objective. By leveraging this unique resource you can help drive business innovation and form a trusted foundation for strategic decision making, increased agility, and long-term competitive advantage.

Is it time for you to join the Microsoft Partner Network now?

Cheers,

JaAG
