Bio – Liz Hallen


Liz Hallen is an Online Experience Product Manager for the Microsoft Dynamics Communities. Her responsibilities span across all the Microsoft Dynamics products, including Microsoft CRM. Her primary focus is on the Microsoft Dynamics public technical communities and the Microsoft Dynamics RoleTailored Communities


 


The Microsoft Dynamics Live Finance Community was the first of these RoleTailored communities to be launched in March 2007. Liz has been with Microsoft since May 2000 via the Great Plains Software acquisition. During her entire career she’s had some touch with the Microsoft web properties, but has been specifically focused on communities since 2004. She is a telecommuting employee living in a small North Dakota town with a population of about 1300!

    About eh Social Network thingy, what about using teh new Knowledge Network for Sharepoint 2007 add-in from MS Research?

    Hi Richard,

    Thanks for your question about Knowledge Network (KN) on SharePoint 2007. KN is a very cool tool that we have looked, but are only looking at it terms of the types of functionality that it uses because the tool is designed for an intranets so wouldn’t be usable within the new RoleTailored communities as they are availalble via the internet.
