Updates

It has been a while (again) since my last posting. We have been busy bug fixing, polishing the rough edges, and fixing the usability problems. Visual Studio Whidbey is starting to look good. We have done a lot since the Alpha went out, and we hope you will be happy with it.

For those of you that are going to TechEd this year, hopefully we will be able to meet up there. I am giving a talk with Ken Hardy about the object model, although only Ken is listed as the speaker. We will also be doing a “Cook off” - details will be given later, but some of the designers of the extensibility program (VSIP and Automation) will be there, such as Doug Hodges (the architect of Visual Studio), Allen Denver, Ken, myself, and a few others.

Also, tomorrow (4/22) I will be presenting a web cast about writing Add-ins for VS. See the MSDN web site for more details about how to log on.
