A journey starts with the first step, and other cheesy things...

Well, I have been thinking of doing it for a while now, and after much prodding by
colleagues (esp. Korby, see his blog here on GDN) I guess it is time I start writing
a blog. To tell you the truth, I have never actually read a blog before today, so
what you read here may not match up with what others write in theirs. What will I
write about? I will try to scatter some tips and tricks about programming the Visual
Studio .NET object model, links to something that I may find interesting, and a rant
or two here and there.

A little about myself: I am the developer of the Visual Studio .NET automation object
model. Yep, I am responsible for Add-ins, macros, and some other programmability features.
Don't know what that is? Well, you can find out more about Add-ins and Macros in my
book Inside Visual Studio .NET 2003 published by Microsoft Press. More about me can
be found at my web page at https://www.craigskibo.com.
I have been working on various object models at Microsoft since 1996.
