When you install ASI, it creates a share on the server labeled “images.” This is the location to which you’ll copy the contents of your OS CDs. Of course, if you don’t create some sort of directory structure under images you’ll have all kinds of problems. That begs the question, what is the correct directory structure?
At this time I’m recommending that people mimic the structure we use internally on the Windows release servers. That looks like this…
You could eliminate some layers from this. If you only test on one language, for example, you probably don’t need the language directory.
