Microsoft Japan announced the free broadband broadcasting media “GyaO” has started new movie delivering service using Silverlight.

GyaO was launched in the spring of 2005 as a completely free broadband broadcasting media by USEN Corp.

There are a total of 16,523,175 registered users as of October 31th 2007 (13% !! of Japan’s population), one of the largest movie delivery service in Japan.

GyaO has started deliver the latest trailers from GAGA, the film distributing company in same USEN group by Silverlight.
