Markdown in Discussions

We now support markdown in our discussion editor! If you are new to markdown, you can learn more about it from our previous blog post on the topic. A couple other notable changes are:

  • Editing and replying to discussions on iPads and iPhones is now supported (kudos to RKendall)
  • The comment box had been added back to the edit issue page
  • The maximum size of a release file has been increased to 500mb
  • Readme files will be viewed by default in source browsing for Git and Mercurial projects
