Excel and Access Services, Program Manager - (reporting to ME!)

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager that has designed web user experiences and shipped software to the web. Responsibilities include identifying customer scenarios; designing features; writing high-quality, detailed feature specifications; and working with developers, testers, product planners, usability engineers, designers, and with other teams at Microsoft to drive features from start to finish. We require a minimum of five years of Program Management experience, with at least one complete cycle shipping software to the web. Knowledge of web technologies such as CSS, AJAX, DHTML, XML, RSS and JavaScript, as well as experience working with hosted services is required. Must have demonstrated skills in writing specifications and strong communication skills. A BA/BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent. A background building data applications and Excel spreadsheets is a plus.

We own the database engine that Access relies on (formerly Jet), and the entire Access product. · Working closely with team leads to drive test strategy across the product group.
