IE and Tabs

I have never really jumped on the tab browsing horse ... until now.

The MSN Search Toolbar with Windows Desktop Search allows you to turn on tab based browsing.  I am going to give it a go and see how i get along.

this is the worst tabbed browsing implementation on the planet.

see firefox or maxthon for how it should be done.

You can’t open a link in a new tab with a right click of any kind, you can only open all link clicks in a new tab which is rediculous.

It can’t capture popups or links that open new windows into the tabs either.

Use Firefox or Maxthon or any number of other third party IE browser extensions that make tabs work the way that is useful. There’s nothing to see with the MSN tab implimentation other than yet another wasted line in the toolbar.

Uninstalled the thing immediatley after trying it.

    James Hancock,

You can open a link in a new tab by either:

    – Right clicking and choosing to open it in a new foreground or background tab.

    – Press ALT when clicking a link and it will open it in a new tab for you. I got frustrated with this to begin with.
