Journey to Northwest Arkansas

Hey everyone – just wanted to let you know about the upcoming trip I have planned for Northwest Arkansas in April.  Randy Walker has done a great job coordinating with all the groups up there so that I can get to everyone in one week!  Here’s the agenda:

image Monday April 6th

  • Fort Smith DNUG (6pm-8pm)

Tuesday April 7th

  • Lunch with Harrison DNUG (12pm-1pm)
  • Wal-Mart (3pm-4:30pm)
  • NWA DNUG (6pm-8pm)

Wednesday April 8th

  • Lunch with NWA SQL
  • Travel to Jonesboro

Thursday April 9th

  • Lunch with Jonesboro DNUG
  • Little Rock DNUG (6pm-8pm)

Friday, April 10th

  • Heading home

Right now, my current plan is to fly to Tulsa, Rent a car, and drive around Arkansas until I reach Little Rock, and then fly home the next day.  I’m not sure if I’ll do that, or just rent a car here and drive the whole way.  It’ll be WAY cheaper to just drive, and will probably take close to the same time considering airport parking, check-in, etc.  If I do drive, I’ll have to get some new podcasts and audio books because I’m almost out and what I have will not even last the driving around Arkansas!

Also – the plan right now is to go from place to place talking about Windows Azure, .NET Services, Live Services and SDS.  I’m not sure exactly what the topics are going to be yet, but I’m starting to get those “please tell us what you’re presenting on” emails that the User Group leaders need in order to advertise.  I need to finalize what I’m going to talk about, but perhaps I’ll cheat and just say “Developing in the Cloud” and tailor the talk to the audience…  How does that sound?
