Moonlight – Silverlight on Linux now shipping!

UPDATE: Looks like I jumped the gun a little bit. This release is not quite production ready and not quite bug free. BUT – they’re easily accessible now and available for you to do your testing. Sorry for the confusion

Congrats to Miguel, Joseph, and the guys from the Mono project for the latest public release of Moonlght! Moonlight, developed by Miguel de Icaza and the fine folks at Novell working on the Mono project, have released a browser plug-in for Linux that will run Silverlight 1 content.  They’ve been working on this for some time, and I’m really glad to see that it’s finally out in the wild and easily accessible to everyone for testing.  I can’t wait to see what they do with the Silvelright 2 bits!

Now Silverlight content can “officially” run on Linux, thanks to the hard work and dedication of this team.  Thanks guys!
