On February 28, 2008, I am hosting a webcast on how Microsoft is helping chemical companies deliver on innovation. We will talk about a range of topics with a couple of customer stories, but if you are involved in R&D on the IT or the business side, come check it out. You can register by clicking here.
In the last six months, I have seen a lot of pull from R&D organizations around ideation, supporting global collaboration (for us, that usually means SharePoint, Office Communications Server for presence, IM, voice and web conferencing) both inside and outside the organization, intellectual property protection (can I send my formulas and other intellectual property to other regions of the world in a secure manner or even to business partners), portfolio management, and high-performance computing.
We will hit on most of these areas at a high-level to build your awareness of where we are focused on R&D and innovation in the chemical industry.
I hope you are able to attend, and will love to hear your feedback after the webcast.
