Nancy Seewald wrote a nice piece on Operational Excellence in the November 21st edition of ChemWeek.  I believe you need a subscription to view the full article.  I was fortunate to be able to contribute a quote on the need for technology to support the management systems, processes and metrics in place.  Nancy does a really nice job laying out the current challenge with some perspectives from Nova and Rohm and Haas on how they are tackling their operational excellence initiatives.
