A Rainy Friday Afternoon

I'm staring out the window at the 3rd straight day of rain.  Sounds gloomy, except when you live in the Southeast, USA - and are experiencing Level-3 Exceptional Drought conditions.  It is actually quite lovely.  Sorry for the lack of posts this week.  I was up in Philadelphia for the CSCMP conference.  They run a very impressive conference, and Philadelphia was a great location.  I had the chance to break away from the conference and visit a few of my chemical customers down in Delaware and over in New Jersey.  If they are reading, thanks for the time spent.

Next week, I am off to San Francisco for the American Chemistry Council's 2007 Chairman's Dinner honoring Andrew Liveris.  Should be a great event, and I hope to see some of you there.

I'll start blogging topics again next week - I have operational excellence on my mind...and some things about the adoption of Lean in the chemical industry.
