MSDN Usergroup Queensland "A Case Study: Using TFS to support long-running deployment projects".

I have sat in on this presentation and it is definitely worth doing -if you are in Australia-grin

Title: "A Case Study: Using TFS to support long-running deployment projects".

The Sunshine Coast Regional Council is half of the way through deployment of a new records and document management system, a project that is planned to take up to another two years.  This session will focus on how TFS has been used to support the development cycles, and to support the system customisations and custom tool development associated with the project.  Experiences installing, configuring and upgrading TFS, customising task templates, introducing new users, working with "template" tasks and developing tools that interact with TFS will be covered, as well as general Q&A on a real-world small-team project.

Dylan will also share his experiences with upgrading from Visual Studio 2005 to Visual Studio 2008.

About Dylan:
Dylan is The Sunshine Coast Regional Council’s Integration Analyst, and leader of the council’s EDRMS Project Technical Team
