Service Pack 1 (SP1) for Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010 and Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010

SP1 for SharePoint Foundation 2010 and SharePoint Server 2010 is now available for download:

The white paper highlights the new features and enhancements included in SP1, cumulative updates included in SP1 and also has links to new and updated TechNet content.

Below is the SP1 Configuration database version (14.0.6029.1000)

Some of the cool additions are:

  • Support for SQL Server Code Name ‘Denali’
  • Site Recycle Bin
  • SP1 now provides support for the following browsers:
    • IE9 in IE8 Standards Mode
    • Google Chrome
