SQL Server 2012 can now be installed on a Server Core installation of Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. My previous blog posts has those details about installing Windows in Server Core mode, and configurations needed on the operating system.
I worked on a technet wiki topic explaining these configuration steps in detail. Here it is: Configure SQL Server 2012 on a Server Core Installation <http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/8021.configure-sql-server-2012-on-a-server-core-installation.aspx>
Please let me know your suggestions, and thoughts around this. Please feel free to suggest any other configuration steps that I might be missing.
