Adding some of the useful tools, and reports for SQL Server Installation.

  1. SQL Server Setup Discovery Report:

The SQL Discovery report can be used to verify the version of SQL Server and the features installed on the computer.

To open the SQL Discover report,

  1. Go to Start, click All Programs.
  2. Select Microsoft SQL Server <Version number>, Configuration Tools, and select SQL Server Installation Center.
  3. Under Tools section, click "Installed SQL Server features discovery report"

Alternatively, this report is stored under the path: %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Setup Bootstrap\Log\<last Setup Session>.
