Having trouble finding time to sit down and write that app? Use Pure Imagination to get your app done.

Windows 8 storeSometimes we need a kickstart to start or finish a great app. Pure Imagination November 24 & 25th is just the thing to help you bring your idea to life or to finish up that app you started and got stuck on. Attend in person if you can come to Toronto, or online if you can’t.

I am still recovering from the awesomeness that was the worldwide WOWZAPP hackathon. I was blown away by the calibre of the applications created in a single weekend! One comment I heard from several of the coders was that WOWZAPP gave them the help and focus they needed to either finish an app they had been working on, or a chance to finally sit down, get a handle on Windows 8, and create an app.

I guess sometimes we all need a little help, or a deadline, to get working on our great app idea. We’ve got another amazing event coming up to do exactly that: Windows 8:Pure Imagination . This is a Canadian event happening at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University in Toronto on the weekend of November 24th and 25th, of course not everyone can get to Toronto so we’re offering this event online too!

In one weekend, you’ll get everything you need to transform your idea into the next great Canadian app: on-site presentations; brainstorming sessions; hands-on labs; access to industry experts for guidance. We’ll throw in some spontaneous moments of fun to keep your energy up. Great prizes will be awarded for awesome apps at the end of the weekend.

So, if like me, you keep putting off sitting down to write that app, use Pure Imagination as an opportunity to bring your idea to life!

Once you’ve built your app, don’t forget to take advantage of the Canadian Developer Movement which gives you cool rewards for publishing your apps!

If you are a student and wish to be put on the waitlist for an invite for the Student invitation only portion of Pure Imagination on Friday evening, please e-mail us and we will contact you if there an opening is available. At the moment we have a few spots left for the student night.

Dream it. Build it. Live it! See you November 24th and 25th in Toronto or online, I can’t wait to see your idea come to life!
