This hackathon is inspired by the Imagine Cup a worldwide student technology competition. In past years we have seen some amazing projects created by students entered in Imagine Cup.
Some were great business ideas like Team Butterfly
Some were designed to help others like Team Eyenaemia
or even a cool game like Ovivo which started out as an entry in a Microsoft hackathon much like this one! The developers had never built a game before and went on to win first place in the Games category of the Imagine Cup World Finals in 2015 and their game has now been picked up by Nekki games for publication!
This weekend you get to come up with your own idea, start bringing it to life and hopefully have some fun on the way!
Azure is a great tool to help you add power to your hack. Check out these Azure resources to get you started
