Visual Studio Time Saver– Setting and creating themes

Do you prefer a light background and dark text? dark background light text? black and white? Green? Red? Purple? In this post I’ll show you how to change and create color themes used in Visual Studio

Visual Studio has different built in color themes you can choose. You can change between the default themes by going to Tools | Options | Environment | General and setting the value for Color Theme. This will allow you to choose between a basic light and dark theme. If you install the Visual Studio Color Theme Editor you get additional themes you can use to customize Visual Studio and you can create your own themes. If you want to find themes created by other developers you can re-use, or to share the themes you create, visit studio styles.
