C-E-L-E-B-R-A-T-E Good Times, C’mon!

The wait is over. It all starts here. Meet Windows 8. Meet Surface. If you’re watching the webcams on Time Square right now, you’ll see everyone celebrating in and around the Microsoft Store. If they are celebrating, we shall celebrate as well!

Here’s how we’re going to do it.

  1. Register for your Windows Store developer account. To make the registration process quick and painless, check out Get In on the Action: Start With Your Windows Store Developer Account.
  2. When you get your “Windows Store: Welcome!” account registration confirmation email, forward it to win8cdn@microsoft.com.

Be one of the first 150 Canadians to do so and you’ll receive a Tim Horton’s card* to not only celebrate, but also ensure that you have energy to pump out an app or two!

But that’s only the beginning. The Canadian Developer Connection app is already on it’s way to the Windows Store!

Get the latest Canadian developer news and technical resources. Watch the latest episodes of featured developer shows and on-demand videos from events and workshops. Be in the know of upcoming developer events in your area or online. Connect with directly with the Microsoft Canada team that supports developers like you in Canada. All in one place and directly from the source – the Canadian Developer Connection. Here’s a few sneak peaks at the app:

Stay tuned for the full details on the app on the upcoming D³: LIVE & INTERACTIVE, November 7 at 12:00 PM ET, where we'll be talking about imagination, pure imagination. The list of new products and technologies launching is endless. The conference that covers it all is BUILD 2012. Be in the know of all that’s going on with this BUILD debrief. Plus: There’s something BRUTALLY EPIC coming November 24-25. Tommy Lee dishes the details.

See you then. In the meantime, back to celebrations!
