Here’s What You Need
- Notebook computers! You’ll need them to do the hands-on activities.
- Hardware – Any device capable of running Windows 8 and Visual Studio Express. We recommend that you install the necessary software prior to the event. If the software is not already installed, you will need a partition with ~30 GB of free space to install the bits.
- Windows 8 Consumer Preview
- Visual Studio 11 Beta
- Download the Windows 8 SDK samples
If you have any questions, please reach out to us at Win8CDN@microsoft.com. If you’re building a Windows 8 application, we would love to hear all about it!
Enjoy the summer!
