And Now, a Message from Frédéric Harper

Our newest developer evangelist, Frédéric Harper, won’t have access to the blog until his official start in January, so he asked me to post this for him. I was only too happy to oblige!

Hi everybody,

You’ll have to deal with a new Developer Evangelist: me! My name is Frederic Harper and I’m from Montreal. I worked in TI for about 8 years, mainly in Web and mobile development. I’ll join the team in January, but I wanted to introduce myself to you before my first day of “work”. I’ll replace Christian Beauclair, who accepted new challenges in another department.

I’ll be you primary contact for Web development. For your information, I worked with Open Source technologies like PHP, Perl, MySQL, PostegreSQL, but also worked with Microsoft technologies like ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS… and I have many others interests.

I’ll be the French guy on the team, so you can talk to me in French if you want. As you can see, English is not my primary language. If you want to get in touch before January, it’s possible to get a hold of me using Twitter, LinkedIn, and on my blog (mostly in French).

By the way, I’m a real Geek, a fan of music and a social media enthusiast!
