TechDays gives Back–Halifax is Feed Nova Scotia

As you know, the team is rolling along across Canada – hitting the Eastern destinations now with Halifax taking place on the 2nd and 3rd of November. Something that we’ve been trying to organize prior to departure, but only came to fruition now - has been an opportunity for TechDays Attendees to Give Back to each community we visit. In Halifax – we’ve got the Folks from Feed Nova Scotia dropping a bin / bag / box for donations to help fill FoodBanks and support meal programs across Nova Scotia.

I’d love to see it full of donations so that they’d have to come back and get it before day 1 is over!

FEEDNOVA SCOTIA is a charitable organization that helps feed hungry people by collecting and distributing food to more than 150 member agency foodbanks and meal programs, while at the same time striving to eliminate chronic hunger and poverty through research, awareness and support programs.

  • Pasta products and canned sauce
  • Rice
  • Canned meats and fish
  • Peanut butter
  • Breakfast cereal
  • Canned vegetables
  • Dry and canned soups
  • Fruit juices
  • Canned / powdered milk
  • Baby food
  • Baby formula
  • Beans and legumes
