With the news of Qixing leaving to work on Windows 8, I have an opening on my team and I’m looking for Canada’s next Top Tech Evangelist!

As a start you can check out the job posting here.  But, I wanted to take the time to share what I’m looking for with you.  The role will be based in the Toronto area and it is all about passion and a commitment to supporting others!   I’m looking for someone that has a developer’s heart, takes a solution perspective and has the right DNA to make a positive difference in support of Canadian developers, architects and managers.  Someone that can be a Canadian thought leader on tech challenges, share what our partners and ISV’s are building, highlight customer stories and tell the Microsoft platform story. 

At the core, this role is really about sharing with others what is possible and how it can help with their solution, career and organization.   The ideal candidate will have had experience leading development projects, developing solutions and naturally shares their experiences with others.   They can see how ones and zeros lead to business value and knows that while software is magical, it is people that bring that magic to life!
