  1. Try registering for Syracuse -- YOU CAN'T says:

When you go to register for the Syracuse 11/13 event, it doesn't show up in the list.

  2. Will they give out FREE copy of Windows 8 software at the launch event?  OR any other software?  Just like the past launch events?

  3. Leon says:

I am asking the same question. WIll they give out free Windows 8?

Only the developer track mentioned giveaway though

  4. Chris Bowen says:

Sorry, I haven't heard about giveaways, but I'll update this post if I do.

  5. Jessica says:

Why no Phoenix launch event this year?

  6. Chris Bowen says:

Also, just a reminder that not every city has every track, so you'll need to choose a track first, then see which cities have events covering that track.

  7. Wil says:

Chris, do you know if there is any free parking at Westin Waltham? Thanks.

  8. Chris Bowen says:

Wil, unfortunately the Waltham event has just been canceled with storm safety concerns.  Hopefully it will be rescheduled.

(For future reference, they do have a garage, but I believe there is a charge if you aren't an overnight guest.  I think there's some street parking as well.)

  9. Justin says:

Any word yet on what giveaways are taking place?

  10. I just heard that the New York event has also been cancelled.  Will this be resheduled as well?  If so, please let us know when and where.  Thanks
