New England GiveCamp – Cambridge, June 11-13

My teammate Jim O’Neil has a post announcing a special kind of event coming to our area in June, New England GiveCamp.

What’s a GiveCamp?

GiveCamps (see GiveCamp.org and the GiveCamp about page) are driven by volunteer developers, designers, and DBAs in the tech community, donating time and expertise to team together to create software, web sites, and other solutions for non-profit organizations. 

Where?  When?

New England GiveCamp will be held at Microsoft NERD (New England Research & Development) in Cambridge, MA from Friday afternoon through Sunday evening, June 11-13.  A weekend well spent.

How to Help

Jim, who has been hard at work helping to organize this event, lists ways you can help. Volunteers and sponsors are needed now, and ideas for projects and non-profits are being accepted.

This is going to be a great way to give back to the community and support some great organizations in the New England area!
