“Ender’s Game” should be movie

Scott Hanselman lists out some of his favorite books that he’d like to see made into movies.  One of them in particular really hit a chord with me – “Ender’s Game” by Orson Scott Card would be an *awesome* movie!

P.S.  Anyone know how to create a simple URL to a particular book on Amazon?  I browsed to this book, but the URL is really long and gnarly – I’m sure I’ve seen shorter ones on other folk’s blogs.

Hi, Bruce: This URL works for "Ender’s Game" : http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0812550706/103-3893473-1300632

As far as I know, you need the number after ASIN and the ISBN number, which appears at the end of the URL. Everything in between is personalization junk and may be deleted.

For making a short URL, nothing beats http://www.tinyurl.com

With Amazon all you need is the number…so: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0812550706 works fine and is shorter, although http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0812550706/diabeticbooks gives me money 😉
