If you develop on Windows – use AppVerifier!

I read a post recently from a person who was disappointed that they hadn’t heard of the AppVerifier tool that Microsoft ships.  So let’s fix that – if you do commercial software development on Windows, you owe it to your customers to download AppVerifier and test your product with it.  It is an extremely easy way to find bugs that might otherwise be very difficult to track down.

You should make AppVerifier come much more into the light and make an option to integrate it with VS.NET.

But of course it’s very good that the tool is available 🙂 thanks to Microsoft for the very nice article "Debugging Services for Application Compatibility Testing", which was posted last week (see http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=d8fb6d49-e496-493d-a032-a7168809f624&DisplayLang=en )
