SMS Inventory Tool for Microsoft Updates Pre-Installation Guide Available

In anticipation of the upcoming release of the Systems Management Server 2003 Inventory Tool for Microsoft Updates, Microsoft has released a Pre-Installation guide that can help customers prepare their SMS environments for the new tool. As an add on to SMS 2003 SP1, several enhancements were made to the product to support the new tool. Unfortunately that means several updates and prerequisites must be deployed prior to installing the new tool.
