Great Applications in the Windows Store to help with Sorting, Viewing, Finding Duplicates of Photos
Applications that help you manage your huge photo collections
Over the last few weeks I've spent some weekend time developing some apps that are now in the Windows 8.1 store.
Ultimate Photo Duplicate Finder
Ultimate Photo Duplicate Finder
This application helps you find and process duplicate photo files. It will find duplicate files even if the name is different. A binary comparison will be made to truly find if the file is an exact copy.
A unique copy of all your files will be copied to the "PhotoDuplicates" folder. You will be able to choose the location for the "PhotoDuplicates" folder. It is up to you to delete the files that are in the "PhotoDuplicates" folder.

Ultimate Photo Sorter
This app is about sorting your photos into Year-Month format. It leverages the internal time stamp found in JPGs, leading to an accurate date.
Ultimate Photo Sorter will not touch your existing photos in terms of moving them or renaming them. Most users will delete the original folder(s) once they have been sorted.
You will be asked to supply a list of folders to sort. Once you have sorted them, you will have the ability to copy the sorted files to a special folder called "SortedPhotos."
