This Week’s Link List (April 9, 2010)

I haven’t been writing as much this week as in past weeks, but I HAVE been paying attention. :-) Here’s my favorite links of the week…

· I think this is my favorite link of the week…the Interoperability Lab at Microsoft has announced the availability of the SQL Server Reporting Services SDK for PHP. I haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, but if it’s anything like the Azure SDK for PHP, it will be good: https://blogs.msdn.com/interoperability/archive/2010/04/08/sql-server-reporting-services-sdk-for-php-adding-business-intelligence-and-reporting-features-to-php-applications.aspx

· Josh Holmes has “been doing quite a bit of work with PHP on the Microsoft stack recently” and shares a presentation about running WordPress on Windows: https://www.joshholmes.com/blog/2010/04/06/making-php-faster-on-iis/

· Best practices for WordPress coding: https://www.abcphp.com/4475/

· Connecting your Zend Framework application to Microsoft Azure: https://www.codeguru.com/csharp/csharp/cs_webservices/article.php/c17047

· The European WinPHP Challenge is starting to get some traction: https://www.leftontheweb.com/message/entering_the_winphp_challenge

· An interesting take on support for Azure in Eclipse: https://www.virtualizationpractice.com/blog/?p=5030

· Installing Moodle on Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS: https://learninggateway.net/blogs/ajp/archive/2010/03/29/installing-moodle-on-windows-server-sql-iis.aspx

· PHP Basics: Sorting Arrays: https://www.askaboutphp.com/191/php-basics-sorting-arrays.html

That’s it for this week. Thanks.
