John Durant just announced a new interactive developer training tool, based on Silverlight, called Office Developer Atlas. This tool is a great starting point for learning how to develop Office solutions. The current version of the tool concentrates on the following:

  1. Building solutions with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)
  2. Customizing the Ribbon Fluent UI
  3. Customizing the Office 2010 Backstage View
