Here is a very cheese picture of Krys and I as we see for the first time real copies of the Framework Design Guidelines book at the PDC book store…

  1. Looking forward to reading it. I’ve already pre-ordered the book. 🙂

  2. Bill says:

Are you going to be updating NET Framework Standard Library Annotated Reference for Whidbey?

  3. kfarmer says:

I just got a message from B&N that the book’s been delayed?

  4. CRitchie says:

Any update on the release date? I’m ready to read this book but I’ve heard nothing from AW about my pre-order?

  5. BradA says:

It is out, should take about 2 more weeks for Amazon to stock it… a couple of weeks later for brick and morter stores…

  6. CRitchie says:

Thanks… I pre-ordered from the AW Professional site. I’m looking forward to reading it.

  7. kfarmer says:

Spoke with Dave at Nerdbooks. They should be receiving copies at their warehouse in a few days. They’re pretty good people to order from, and give good discounts.

  8. CRitchie says:

I received an email today informing me that my book was shipped today.

I’m really enjoying the book. It is exactly what I was hoping it would be. I like the stories that go along with the text. But one story I’d like to hear is how System.Text.RegularExpressions.Regex got its name. 🙂 Not only is it abbreviated but even abbreviated it doesn’t seem to follow Pascal Casing (RegEx???).

Great book. Thanks for the work.
