I am pleased to announce that ReMIX07 is happening right in our own backyard in Cambridge MA on October 8th and 9th at the Hyatt Regency. This event will focus on Silverlight, Ajax and other state of the art technologies and tools for creating Rich Internet Applications. Brad Abrams, a founding member of both the Common Language Runtime and .NET Framework teams at Microsoft Corporation where he is currently the Group Program Manager for the UI Framework and Services team, will be keynoting the event. We also have speakers from Microsoft product groups as well as industry experts. You do not want to miss this one. It will sell out quickly so register ASAP!

This event costs $299 but because you are reading my blog you can get $100 off by registering at the ReMIX07 site with the following RSVP code:

User Groups and Other Happenings

Chris Bowen has put together a great list of all the user groups and other events happening in the northeast on his blog:

Connecting the Community

I am starting to leverage Facebook to facilitate connections within the community. I am very impressed with the ease of use of the site and the velocity at which connections can be made. I also like the opt-in/opt-out security model for groups and friends. Please join Facebook (it’s free!), look me up, make me a friend and watch your network grow.

You can also find me on Linked-In so go ahead and send me an invitation.

I am looking forward to seeing you on-line and at the events!

-Bob
