StreamInsight が Windows Azure Platform でも利用可能に、2012 年 2 月版 CTP 公開

SQL Server 2008 R2 からの機能である StreamInsight は、複数ソースによるイベントストリームをリアルタイムで処理を行う、複合イベント処理 (Complex Event Processing) を行います。

StreamInsight を Windows Azure Platform 上で利用できる StreamInsight in Windows Azure (Project Codename "Austin") は、TechEd 2011 North America (2011 年 5 月開催) にて発表されており、2012 年 2 月版 CTP が利用可能とアナウンスされています。
