Windows Azure Platform Appliance による「Fujitsu Global Cloud Platform」、富士通の日本国内データセンターより提供開始
Windows Azure Platform がいよいよ日本国内のデータセンターより提供されます。
Windows Azure Platform Appliance によるマイクロソフトと富士通の戦略的協業 により、Windows Azure Platform と富士通のハードウエアを組み合わせたパブリッククラウドサービス「Fujitsu Global Cloud Platform FGCP/A5 Powered by Windows Azure」が、2011 年 8 月 1 日より富士通から提供開始となります。Windows Azure Platform Appliance では第 1 弾のサービス提供となります。
マイクロソフトの提供する Windows Azure / SQL Azure / Windows Azure AppFabric の各サービスに加えて、Windows Azure Platform 対応の富士通のミドルウエア(運用管理、開発環境、システム連携など)や、導入・移行(アプリケーション移行やシステム構築)、運用(システム運用・監視、バックアップ)、サポートなどのサービスが提供されます。
