SQLPort – 1st Event – Summary

First of all, I would like to say thanks to everyone that had attend this 1st Event. It was a great demonstration of your interest in SQL Server and at the same time in the SQLPort initiative! Please, if you aren’t part of the community yet, go and register yourself at SQLPort website.

Last Tuesday @SQLPort 1st Event we, me and Yennifer, did two presentations. Mine was about SQL Server 2008 R2 setup, with a small demo of Sysprep feature. Yennifer presented a great session about the Many-to-Many Dimensions paradigm. João Bilhim – SQL Server PM at Microsoft Portugal – did also a great presentation about what João considers to be the best new features included in SQL Server 2008 R2 – follow João at his blog - https://blogs.technet.com/joaobi/default.aspx.

The next two events were already announced - 08/06/2010 and 13/07/2010 at Novabase Auditorium.
