Hi, hope you have a few seconds to help me determine if what I seek to do is possible. If I install Hyper-V on a Windows 2008 R2 server then create 3 VM's, one for DC and 2 for server 1 and server 2, in order to learn how how to cluster SQL Server 2008 R2, can it be done so that it doesn't interfece with our servers? Let me explain. I don't want to deploy a DC in the VM world that would create conflicts or bring down our PDC. Our network manager said not to do it.

Is there a way using Hyper-V that I can make those VM's only talk to themselves, specially for the setup and use of the cluster, but at the same time allow the VM's to use our network in order to download what I need from Microsoft for the setup and windows updates?
